In second place were European importers at 32.2% while 9.1% of apples imported worldwide was delivered to buyers in North America. Another 7.8% worth arrived for buyers in Africa.
Smaller percentages went to customers in Latin America (7.5%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, then Oceania (0.2%) led by Fiji, Papua New Guinea and French Polynesia.
