That dollar amount reflects a 6.1% increase for all computer accessories shipped over the five-year period starting in 2015 when computer accessories shipments were valued at $121 billion. Year over year, the overall value of exported computer accessories decreased by -11.1% from 2018 to 2019.
From a continental perspective, suppliers in Asian countries sold the highest dollar worth of exported computer accessories during 2019 with shipments valued at $92.9 billion or almost three-quarters (72.4%) of the global total. In second place were North American exporters at 14.3% while 13.1% of worldwide computer accessories shipments originated from Europe.
Smaller percentages trace back to Oceania (0.14%) led by Australia, Africa (0.06%), Latin America (also 0.05%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean.
