The top 5 importers of coffee (United States of America, Germany, Italy, France and Spain) bought approaching half (46.4%) of the worldwide total for 2025.
From a continental perspective, customers in Europe bought the highest dollar worth of imported coffee during 2025 with purchases costing $40.8 billion or 56.8% of the global total. In second place were importers located in North America at 21.9% while another 15.9% of imported coffee was delivered to buyers in Asia.
Smaller percentages arrived in Africa (2%), Latin America (1.7%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, then Oceania (1.6%) led by Australia and New Zealand.
